💨 Abstract

Harold Terens, turning 102, will have his bar mitzvah next year at the Pentagon after missing it due to familial compromises on religion as a child. He served in WWII, repairing planes on D-Day and later helping transport internees and POWs. Terens was recently celebrated in France for his role in its liberation. Despite surviving war and losing his first wife, he remains optimistic, crediting stress management and luck for his longevity.
