Frenchman David Lappartient will serve a third term as UCI president, running unopposed. He has led the cycling governing body since 2017. His reelection for 2025-2029 will be confirmed during the UCI Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, without a vote. Lappartient previously contended for the role of International Olympic Committee president.
