The Arizona Diamondbacks ended a four-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants. Alek Thomas and Ryne Nelson were key contributors, with Thomas going 3 for 3 and Nelson striking out seven in 6 2/3 innings. The Giants had opportunities but were held to 1 for 12 by Diamondbacks pitchers. San Francisco starter Logan Webb allowed three runs and seven hits, while Bob Melvin was ejected in the ninth.
