💨 Abstract
Isabelle Harrison, a player for the New York Liberty, regularly visits her brother Daniel, who has been battling lupus and awaiting a kidney transplant. While at the WNBA All-Star Game, Harrison spent time with her brother, who has been hospitalized due to complications from lupus. The disease is more prevalent in the African American community, with approximately 1.5 million Americans affected. Harrison has been actively involved in raising awareness and funds for the Lupus Foundation of America through her basketball career.
