The Tampa Bay Rays acquired infielder Tristan Gray from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for cash and designated utilityman Coco Montes for assignment. Gray, 29, has a .270 batting average with nine homers in Triple-A and limited major league experience. Montes, 28, had a .200 batting average in five MLB games this season and a .221 average in Triple-A.
