💨 Abstract
Armed conflict between Cambodia and Thailand over border territory has resulted in deaths and displaced tens of thousands. Mediation efforts have failed to start peace talks. Amid the violence, some individuals are creating safe spaces and aiding the displaced. In Thailand, a temple built a bomb shelter, and elderly dancers delivered aid. In Cambodia, volunteers collect and distribute supplies to evacuees and soldiers. Monasteries remain sanctuaries, with monks like Tho Thoross providing food and shelter.
