💨 Abstract

Rennes secured a dramatic 1-0 victory over Marseille in the opening Ligue 1 match. Playing with 10 men since the 31st minute after Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal was sent off, Rennes scored through Ludovic Blas in stoppage time. Marseille had multiple chances but failed to capitalize, with Adrien Rabiot and Amir Murillo hitting the post. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also struggled to make an impact in his second spell with Marseille.
