💨 Abstract

The Boston Celtics have traded forward Georges Niang and two future second-round picks to the Utah Jazz for rookie RJ Luis Jr. Concurrently, the Celtics signed free-agent power forward Chris Boucher to a one-year, $3.3 million deal. Niang had been with Boston for just a month after being part of a three-team deal that sent Kristaps Porzingis to Atlanta. The trade will help Boston save on luxury taxes.
