💨 Abstract
Chris Woakes, England's experienced fast bowler, is out of the remaining part of the fifth test against India after a shoulder injury sustained while fielding. The injury occurred on the first day of the test at the Oval. Woakes was a key player for England, having participated in all five tests of the series, where England currently leads 2-1. His absence leaves England short of both fast bowlers and reliable lower-order batters.
