💨 Abstract
On August 1, 2025, Mike Yastrzemski debuted with the Kansas City Royals, hitting a 370-foot homer in his first at-bat against the Toronto Blue Jays in the second inning. The two-run shot gave the Royals a 2-1 lead. Yastrzemski's performance made a strong impression; he was acquired from the San Francisco Giants for minor league pitcher Yunior Marte.
