💨 Abstract
Marlins right fielder Dane Myers faced verbal abuse from a fan at Fenway Park during a game against the Boston Red Sox. The heckling intensified in the ninth inning when Myers hit a tying home run. Despite the provocation, Myers managed to stay composed and help his team secure a 5-3 victory. He acknowledged the fan was likely drunk and enjoying the game but emphasized that players also deserve respect. Security intervened and removed the fan after Myers responded to the taunts.
