The Miami Marlins defeated the Boston Red Sox 5-3, ending a three-game losing streak. Dane Myers and Jakob Marsee hit crucial homers in the ninth inning. Eric Wagaman also homered for Miami. For Boston, Wilyer Abreu hit a two-run homer that escaped the glove of Miami's Myers. Garrett Crochet pitched well for the Red Sox, with eight strikeouts over seven innings.
