💨 Abstract
The Spanish La Liga is taking steps to host a regular-season match in the U.S. for the first time. The Spanish soccer federation has given the green light for Villarreal vs. Barcelona to be played in Miami on December 20. This comes after previous failed attempts in 2018 and beyond. The groundwork for approval is now seeking sanctions from UEFA and FIFA.
