💨 Abstract
A significant geomagnetic storm, forecasted to reach G4 (Severe) levels on June 2, 2025, may bring the aurora borealis to the D.C. region. The storm, caused by multiple solar flares and a corporate mass ejection, could make the northern lights visible on the nights of June 1 and June 2.
