💨 Abstract
A significant geomagnetic storm, reaching G4 (severe) levels, is expected from June 1 to June 3, 2025. This storm, caused by a large coronal mass ejection from a powerful solar flare, may produce visible auroras in the D.C. region. Skywatchers are advised to look north from dark, clear sites, using cameras or smartphones to capture the aurora.
