π¨ Abstract
The Geminids meteor shower, peaking on Saturday night into Sunday morning, is expected to produce around 120 meteors per hour. Unlike other showers, it starts as early as 10 p.m. and is caused by asteroid 3200 Phaethon. The moon won't interfere, but weather conditions may vary. For optimal viewing, find a dark spot away from city lights, dress warmly, and look east towards the constellation Gemini.
