💨 Abstract
Feijoas, native to South America, have become New Zealand's unofficial national fruit. During autumn, fallen feijoas form aromatic carpets under backyard trees, leading to a unique tradition of free sharing amongst neighbors. This polarizing fruit, loved for its distinctive taste and smell, is not widely exported due to its short shelf life.
