💨 Abstract
An adolescent loggerhead sea turtle named Dilly Dally, who had a front flipper amputated, was released into the Atlantic Ocean. After months of rehabilitation at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida, Dilly Dally was fitted with a satellite tracker to monitor her journey. Despite stormy weather, the turtle was released to cheers from beachgoers. The successful release is significant for endangered sea turtle conservation.
