💨 Abstract
A new set of math standards has been adopted in Maryland. In California, Charlie, a 10-year-old yellow lab, is set to compete in the World Dog Surfing Championships. The annual event features dogs surfing individually, tandem with other dogs, and with humans. Charlie and his fellow crews will be judged on balance, time on board, and tricks. The champion receives medals and bragging rights.
