💨 Abstract
A federal judge in Virginia ordered the release of Badar Khan Suri, an Indian postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University, after he was detained by federal officers in March. Suri, who was accused of ties to Hamas, was released on the condition that he maintain a residence in Virginia and attend virtual immigration proceedings in Texas.
