💨 Abstract
Dominion Energy plans to resume its tree removal project along the W&OD Trail starting June 16 for 3-4 weeks after a two-month pause due to complaints. The project, aimed at ensuring electric grid safety, involves removing 58 trees between Reston and Herndon, with selective pruning in Loudoun County. In Arlington, four dead Deodar Cedar trees and invasive bamboo will be removed. Dominion assures continued collaboration with NOVA Parks to manage vegetation along the trail.
