💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court of Virginia has upheld the State Corporation Commission's decision to deny a toll increase for the Dulles Greenway. The court deemed the proposed increase, which would have raised tolls for two-axle vehicles to $8.10 during peak hours, unreasonable and unbeneficial to drivers. Loudoun County and Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares supported the ruling, arguing that the toll increase would have resulted in further congestion on public roads and exploited commuters.
