💨 Abstract
Virginia State Police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children warned the public about fake videos on social media claiming mass abductions of children in Virginia. No such incidents are being investigated, and authorities advised people to rely on trusted sources for accurate information. On average, 98 children go missing each week in Virginia, and the public's help is needed to find them. Misinformation can hinder genuine efforts to locate missing children and disturb ongoing efforts to bring them home.
