đź’¨ Abstract
A retired couple, Paula and Robert Welsh, are raffling off their historic brick Georgian house in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, through a skill-based contest. Instead of a simple raffle, entrants must pay a $200 fee and submit a 250-500 word essay on why they want to live in the area. The house is worth $1.8 million and features six bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and ample parking.
