💨 Abstract
The D.C. Council will vote on August 1 on a revised plan for a $3.7 billion redevelopment at RFK Stadium, which could include a new stadium for the Washington Commanders. The project also plans 6,000 housing units, retail space, and parkland, potentially generating $26.6 billion in tax revenue over 30 years. The District would contribute $1 billion, with the team funding the rest.
