💨 Abstract
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested that he might block the building of a new stadium for Washington's NFL team, the Commanders, unless they revert to their old name, the "Washington Redskins." Mayor Muriel Bowser and Council Chair Phil Mendelson indicated that their priority lies in finalizing the stadium deal, with neither mentioning concerns about the name change. The D.C. Council is scheduled to begin hearings on the stadium deal next week.
