Washington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz had to leave Monday night's game against the San Diego Padres after being struck in the head by a foul ball hit by teammate Josh Bell during the four-run fourth inning. Ruiz was immediately attended to and taken out of the dugout, with Riley Adams replacing him. There was no update on the extent of Ruiz’s injury.
