💨 Abstract

Haoxi Wang, known as Simon, fell in love with hockey at age 4 in Beijing and moved to Toronto at 12 to pursue the sport. At 17, he is an early to mid-round pick candidate in the upcoming NHL draft, aiming to become the highest-selected Chinese-born player. Wang's quick adaptation and skating ability impressed coaches, despite initial language barriers. He played for the Oshawa Generals and is projected to take a larger role next year.
