In Detroit's doubleheader, Riley Greene's two three-run homers and six RBIs led the Tigers to an 11-2 victory over the Washington Nationals. The Tigers improved to 54-32, moving 22 games over .500 for the first time since 2013. Trevor Williams struggled, allowing seven runs in three innings. Greene, Jake Rogers, and Spencer Torkelson all homered for Detroit.
