💨 Abstract
The Women’s Professional Baseball League (WPBL) will hold its first tryouts at the Washington Nationals’ home ballpark in August. Over 600 players registered for these tryouts, aiming to determine 150 players for the league’s draft in October. The tryouts will be led by baseball star Alex Hugo. If launched, the WPBL would be the first professional women's baseball league since the 1950s.
