💨 Abstract

In Karachi, Pakistan, a member of the minority Ahmadi community was beaten to death by a mob of Islamists during a demonstration near an Ahmadi place of worship. The victim, Laeeq Cheema, died before reaching the hospital. The attack is believed to have been carried out by the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, a radical Islamist party. Police are investigating the incident and have deployed additional forces to maintain order.
