A retired high-ranking Myanmar military officer, Cho Tun Aung was killed on Thursday by the self-proclaimed urban guerrilla group called **Golden Valley Warriors**. Cho Tun Aung was assassinated at his home in Yangon's Mayangon. The **Golden Valley Warriors** claimed responsibility on their **Facebook** page, stating that Tun Aung was a lecturer at the **National Defense College** and a member of the **War Veterans Organization**, aiding the army in counterterrorism and security.
