Brazilian photographer and environmentalist Sebastião Salgado, renowned for his powerful images of nature and humanity, has passed away at 81. Institut Terra, founded by him and his wife, confirmed his death but did not provide details. Salgado, celebrated in the documentary "The Salt of the Earth," was known for his transformative work and lens that revealed global contradictions overall he was one of the best photographers of our time.
