💨 Abstract
The U.K. High Court reduced the 18-month prison sentence of Tommy Robinson, founder of the far-right English Defense League, who was jailed for violating a court order forbidding him from repeating libelous allegations against a Syrian refugee. Robinson is expected to be released on parole soon after showing a commitment to comply with the order. He had spread false allegations about a teenager, Jamal Hijazi, leading to harassment and legal action.
