💨 Abstract
Flights to Sanaa, Yemen, resumed on May 17, 2025, over a week after Israeli airstrikes on May 6 damaged and destroyed the airport facilities. The strikes, in response to a Houthi missile hitting near Tel Aviv, halted airport operations, damaging aircraft and runway. A Yemenia flight from Amman landed safely the day after the strikes resumed, with Yemenia having scheduled 3 more flights to/from Amman.
