💨 Abstract
Haitham Abu Daqa's 5-month-old daughter from Gaza received lifesaving open-heart surgery in Jordan, but the family was forced to return to Gaza despite the high risk to the child's health and the ongoing war. Daqa's daughter was one of 17 Palestinian children, all of whom were compelled to return after treatment. Human rights groups criticized Jordan and Israel for this decision, stating that it violates international law since the children may face harm in Gaza.
