Lebanese and Palestinians leaders agree that Lebanon won’t be used as a launchpad to strike Israel -
💨 Abstract
The Lebanese and Palestinian presidents agreed that Palestinian factions in Lebanon will not use the country as a base for attacks against Israel and will remove unauthorized weapons. This agreement comes after a 14-month Israel-Hezbollah war and aims to establish Lebanese authority, particularly in the south near Israel. The 12 Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, home to tens of thousands, are not under Lebanese control and host various armed factions.
