💨 Abstract
Tokyo police and customs officials seized approximately 40 kilograms of ketamine, valued at around $8.8 million, smuggled through Haneda Airport in a suitcase. A 21-year-old French cook was arrested upon arriving from Germany and faces criminal charges. Ketamine, while used as an anesthetic, is also abused for its hallucinogenic effects and can be dangerous.
