💨 Abstract
Iran and the U.S. are set to hold their fifth round of negotiations in Rome regarding Iran's nuclear program, amidst escalating tensions. President Donald Trump has proposed negotiations via a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei but has also imposed new sanctions and suggested possible military action. Iran has insisted its nuclear program is peaceful but has enriched uranium to near weapons-grade levels. The talks were previously held in Rome and Muscat, Oman.
