💨 Abstract
Thailand began its annual LGBTQ+ Pride Month celebrations with a parade in Bangkok, marking the first event since legalizing same-sex marriage. Thousands marched with rainbow flags, supported by politicians including Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. The Marriage Equality Act makes Thailand the first in Southeast Asia and the third in Asia to recognize same-sex marriage.
