💨 Abstract
An Argentine judge has ordered a trial in absentia for seven Iranians and three Lebanese citizens accused of involvement in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, which killed 85 people. This decision comes after years of setbacks and controversy, with Argentina previously refusing to allow such trials. Right-wing President Javier Milei, a strong ally of Israel, pushed through legislation enabling these trials.
