💨 Abstract
Brazil's federal police have accused former President Jair Bolsonaro and 35 others of using the country's intelligence agency to spy on judges, lawmakers, and journalists. A 1,125-page document revealed Bolsonaro was aware of and benefited from the scheme. The investigation focuses on a "parallel structure" within the intelligence agency. Bolsonaro, already barred from running in the next election, faces trial for attempting a coup.
