💨 Abstract
China has lifted a nearly two-year ban on Japanese seafood imports, imposed due to concerns over radioactive wastewater discharge from the Fukushima nuclear plant. The ban, which significantly impacted Japan's fisheries, will still apply to 10 Japanese prefectures, including Fukushima. Japan must now reapply for export registrations and provide extensive certificates for all imports.
