💨 Abstract
After being arrested in Dubai, Dutch soccer player Quincy Promes is being extradited to the Netherlands. He was sentenced to six years in prison for his role in cocaine smuggling in 2020. Promes also has an 18-month sentence for stabbing his cousin in 2023, with both convictions under appeal. Once expected to return to The Hague, Convictions followed a stellar soccer career playing for clubs like Ajax and Sevilla.
