💨 Abstract
A Hong Kong workers' rights advocacy group, China Labor Bulletin, announced an abrupt shutdown on June 12th, 2025, citing financial problems. The organization shut down its website and deleted social media accounts. Founded in 1994, it tracked labor incidents in China. Its closure comes amid a crackdown on civil society groups since the 2020 national security law.
