Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, visited Lebanon to support efforts to end Israel's military presence and help with reconstruction, particularly alongside a new Lebanon focused on mutual respect and state power. Lebanon's leadership, including President Joseph Aoun, echoed this desire. Additionally, Iran aims to bolster relations with the new government post-war, backing diplomatic efforts and expressing readiness to assist in Lebanon's reconstruction.
