💨 Abstract
A landmine explosion in Pakistan's Kurram district killed four people and injured others. The blast occurred in a forested area, an unusual site for such incidents, leading to suspicions of sectarian motives, specifically targeting minority Shiites by Sunni militants The area has a history of sectarian violence, though a ceasefire has been in place since January. The incident is under investigation.
