💨 Abstract
New evacuation alerts were issued for parts of Chios, Greece, amid persistent winds and a sprawling, two-day wildfire. The blaze, started in three locations, has involved 190 firefighters, 35 vehicles, five helicopters, and two planes. Arson investigators were sent to the island to determine the fire's origin.
