💨 Abstract
In Sudan, paramilitary forces known as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) claimed to have captured a strategic zone along the border with Libya and Egypt. This move follows a two-year conflict with the Sudanese military, which evacuated the area. The military accused Libyan forces of supporting the RSF, a claim rejected by Libyan commander Khalifa Hifter.
