💨 Abstract

According to Iranian officials, 27 inmates remain at large following an Israeli airstrike on Evin prison in Tehran last month, which occurred during a 12-day bombing campaign. The strike resulted in multiple deaths, including prisoners, staff, soldiers, and visitors. Israel targeted the prison, reportedly based on intelligence. Iranian officials have recaptured or accounted for 48 of the 75 escapees.
